For some reason I always get a weird look when I tell people I want to paint something black. This time, I got THAT LOOK from my husband about painting the floor black. :-) I don't know why people question me on these things. I *think*, I keep proving my taste to be trust worthy.
Moral of the story: Don't mess with a pregnant woman with a vision!
Tell me what you think? I'll over look it if you don't like the black floor. :-)

LOVE it! I cannot imagine it without the black floor. I totally agree on the preg. comment. lol
What color did you paint the walls? I am thinking painting my kitchen yellow. My cabinets are the color of your dresser, I want to make the counter tops black, and use red accents...what do you think of that for a kitchen?
That would look great!I love red anywhere in a kitchen! My yellow color is called Yarrow Point (from Ace). I almost went with a beige-ish color but I just couldn't bring myself to paint any room in my house beige.
I like the wall color and the black floor. They go well together. Paint just maks everything look fresher!
LOVE IT!
You did a great job, and the black floor is fab!
And to your friend, my parents have a red and yellow dining room and it is my favorite room in the house! The top 1/2of the wall is yellow and the bottom is an apple red.
